FEG is seeking a strategic visionary to drive growth by identifying and evaluating new opportunities, leading executive-level discussions, executing acquisitions, and forming strategic partnerships. If you have a keen eye for market trends and a passion for driving business success.

  • Evaluating market trends and international landscape to identify new growth opportunities,
  • Developing a comprehensive strategy to deliver growth by strategically identifying and evaluating opportunities that can enhance shareholder returns and complement FEGs strategy to become the leading player in our CEE region,
  • Lead the Business Development agenda with the senior executive team, the CEO, and the wider board, providing robust, credible, and well-considered strategic advice and action plans,
  • Through direct research and networking, explore and map the potential universe of acquisition targets. Where relevant engage with potential targets to understand their motivations and appetite for working together or a future sale,
  • Execution of approved components of the strategy with a focus on expanding into new areas of the Gambling Value chain or related adjacencies, including:
  • Identification of and assessing potential acquisition targets and executing due diligence where suitable opportunities to acquire exist,
  • Evaluating their fit with the company and its long-term vision,
  • Leading on negotiations and closing acquisitions, partnerships, and other growth opportunities,
  • Identifying possible strategic partners and developing partnerships with suitable complementary companies,
  • Working with cross-functional teams to integrate acquired companies and assets into the company and ensure smooth commencements of agreed partnerships,
  • Supporting and evaluating the execution of agreed strategies to deliver the required business results,
  • Regularly reporting to top management and the FEG board on strategy re-evaluation, the pipeline of acquisition and other opportunities, and on the outcomes,

We Require

  • Fluent in English (knowledge of Czech, Slovak, or another Slavic language would be beneficial but is not required),
  • University degree in business, finance, or related field; executive MBA from a top international business school preferred,
  • Proven track record of successfully developing and executing strategic initiatives, Experience in discovering new business opportunities,
  • Strong understanding of the CEE region, probably having grown up in or worked in one of these markets.
  • Availability to travel to target countries
  • Strong influencing and communicating skills,
  • Curiosity and ability to make decisions based on data,
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills,
  • Strong financial and business acumen,
  • Results-oriented individual with a focus on delivery and agility,
  • Interest in technology and new trends in business,
  • Rally strong collaboration skills as will be relying on support and cooperation from teams across a matrix organization.
  • Individual demonstrates a strong commitment to results,
  • The role may involve extensive travel to the FEG markets.
