In this role, you will define and develop system software and classification algorithms for Networking IP.
This includes:
Defining new algorithms from broad-worded requirement inputs- Solve multi-disciplinary complex problems
- Design and implement algorithms in C from pre-study to production-worthy implementation
- Design and implement control plane software stacks from API to hardware registers and
- Design and implement low-level communication layers written in C
- Implement system-level regression tests
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Solid knowledge of data structures and classification algorithms with relevant PhD
- Deep understanding and subject matter expert in turnery content addressable memory (TCAM)
- Demonstrated industry-class algorithms through peer-reviewed publications, patents, and product deployments
- Substantial experience with C code design (both functional and Object-Oriented)
- Strong in Linux/GNU environment, GCC and GNU Make
- Excellent code organization skills with an attitude towards code clarity and robustness
- Proficiency in writing both engineering and user documentation
- Good familiarity with basic concepts of Digital Design to interface with the RTL team

Working Model
This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
