Key Account Manager [Czech Republic]


 

KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

As Key Account Manager DIY you will be responsible for developing and executing ASSA ABLOY DIY strategy with commercial, marketing and supply chain teams internally while leveraging our distributor partners resources. Your key objective will be ensuring the sustainable growth of the DIY business with the assigned key account clients in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, maximizing its profitability and market share.


What you would do as our Key Account Manager?


  • Building strong and long-term relationship with the assigned key clients in DIY (Hornbach, Bauhaus, etc.).
  • Customer acquisition
  • Developing and maintaining best practice processes for DIY, being responsible for ensuring execution with excellence and includes ownership of the matrix P&L for DIY.
  • Preparing and managing the budget and sales plans for each client.
  • Negotiating annual trade terms.
  • Preparing sales pitches / presentations, ensuring new product listing and assortment optimization.
  • Providing day-to-day key account management.
  • Creating, initiating, and implementing promotional and tailor-made activities.
  • Monitoring new business opportunities on the market and in client’s cooperation.
  • Co-operating closely with brand marketing and trade marketing departments (short and long-term promotional events, tailor-made POS materials).
  • Preparing reports for on a regular basis and ad-hoc as required.
  • Monitoring competitors´ activities, market price levels and customers behavior development.

The skills and experience you need:


  • Able to influence behaviors cross-functionally and at all business levels
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to successfully creating and maintaining business relationships
  • Result oriented
  • Self-motivated
  • Numerate
  • Min. secondary education
  • Extensive experience in a commercial role, working in FMCG/SMCG sales
  • English (written and spoken) – B2
  • MS Office – advanced
