Position Purpose:
This position is responsible for achieving the day-to-day activities of the receipting, picking and dispatch functions of all product types and supporting the Supervisor in implementing and maintaining warehouse, and inventory controls and be disciplined to ensure a smooth and effective operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely, and accurately receive, receipt, store, pick and dispatch items in accordance with established processes and procedures.
Ensure detailed standards are achieved and maintained for all inventory, and record keeping within the Warehouse, this also includes housekeeping.
Any issues identified need to be raised to the Supervisor or lead.
Become confident in using the businesses ERP systems to manage and validate customer orders, as well as inventory.
Complete inventory cycle counts as and when required.
Ensure warehouse processes are communicated and followed by all team members, safely and efficiently.
Complete all orders and requests in the agreed timeframes, that are from our internal and external customers.
Be able to be flexiable in prioritizing orders that has been flagged as priority.
Raise and trouble shoot with the Supervisor on any inventory or warehouse challenges.
Follow EHS policies and procedures to champion a safe and balanced workplace environment - yours and your colleagues safety is paramount.
Follow the businesses PPI established culture, and give ideas and practice continuous improvement in advancing quality, and efficiency gains.
Carry out and complete other related duties, as and when the need arises, to sustain efficient operation of the team and business.
Working Conditions:
Required to lift up to 20kg when required. Also to stand for long periods of time when performing set duties.
Be safety focussed, and conscious with chemicals and hazardous materials which also includes the handling of dry ice, as well as have the ability to work in cold environments such as freezers and chillers.
Can be flexible around additional hours of work ie. overtime, which may include weekend work.
