The Role
Supporting the Alliance Director and sitting within a very experienced and highly supportive site-based team, the Portfolio Manager will support the delivery of the client’s property strategy across the Retail portfolio and Corporate network within New Zealand, including management of the Corporate sites portfolio with respect to leasing and account management.
Based in Auckland, New Zealand.

A typical day may involve:
- Management of the client's tenure, and operations of sites across New Zealand to ensure a consistent and high level of service delivery.
- Management and monitoring the performance of assigned portfolios - including lease, database, document and account management.
- Handling transaction delivery across Retail, ATM and Corporate portfolios.
- Supporting implementation and delivery of the portfolio strategy.
- Financial management, reporting and planning.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and planning tasks with the support of the Finance team.
- A high focus on relationship management - creating and building relationships with Landlords, Tenants, Local Authorities, internal and external Legal Counsels, supply chains, and key client stakeholders.
- Close collaboration with Facilities Management teams and other functions of the property team.
- HSE management, ensuring site staff are inducted on policies.
- Management of incidents across HSE.
- Responsible for contractor and third-party maintenance.
Requirements
- Property Management experience with Commercial or Retail portfolio management.
- Strong experience with commercial loan servicing, including leasing, budgets, reconciliations, make-goods and negotiations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills.
- The ability to influence to achieve desired outcomes through successful negotiations.
- Great knowledge of financial terms and principles, including the ability to conduct financial business analysis, review contracts and prepare reports.
- Drivers' License is required, and ability to travel on ad hoc basis (roughly once every 2 months).
