Your role in the story:
You will be part of a team that procures (capex) goods and services for the operation, maintenance and upgrade of Heerema’s assets (vessels and equipment), in a cost efficient manner, in time, in accordance with requirements and at acceptable terms and conditions. You do this in such a manner that onshore and offshore projects can progress according to project execution plan. Your internal stakeholders are Technical Superintendents and Equipment Managers.
What you will be working on:
- Review and discuss Scope of Works for services and equipment;
- Coordinate scopes, specification and terms & conditions with various specialists resulting in an Invitation to Tender;
- Perform market investigations and issue Invitation to Tenders;
- Coordinate the bidding process and evaluate proposals;
- Lead the process of clarifications and negotiations resulting in a contract or frame agreement;
- Generate Purchase Orders in SAP;
- Analyze data, provide up-to-date vendor, product and market information.

Is this the job for you?
Key ingredients for success:
- A Technical (preferred) or Business Education and 5 years working experience in a technical related industry, Additional Procurement Education (e.g. NEVI) is a plus;
- Knowledge of contract writing including legal aspects;
- General knowledge of ERP systems;
- Excellent negotiation skills;
- Excellent communication skills, fluent in Dutch and English both written and spoken.
