The Court Marshal is responsible for ensuring that all activities on the courts are carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with established rules and regulations. This role involves monitoring play, managing court reservations, and providing excellent customer service to clients.
Deliverables:
- Monitor the courts to ensure all activities are being carried out safely and in compliance with established rules and regulations.
- Manage court reservations and ensure that clients are assigned to appropriate courts.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and requests in a professional and timely manner.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks in line with preventative maintenance processes, such as sweeping the courts and ensuring that courts are in a good condition.
- Respond to emergencies or incidents on the courts, taking appropriate action to ensure the safety of all clients.
- Attend training sessions and stay up to date on changes to rules and regulations in order to maintain expertise in the field.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that all activities at the facility run smoothly and efficiently.
- Support all prospective clients by providing an orientation into the facility and guiding them through the padel experience from courts to pro shop.
Prerequisites for the role:
- Matric/Grade 12
- Computer Literacy: Words, Excel and Outlook
- Existing experience in customer service
- Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service awareness
- Fitness/sports orientated
- Experience in the health and fitness industry (existing knowledge of tennis/sports coaching, training/working in a gym environment would be preferred).
