Where you'll be working
Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is responsible for providing primary and secondary health care for people living in the Auburn, Blacktown, and The Hills Shire, Holroyd and Parramatta Local Government Areas (LGAs) and tertiary care to residents of the Greater Western Region. What you'll be doing
The Child Care Worker will work with a team of educators to develop and implement quality education and care programs for children 0-6 years.

Essential Criteria:

Qualification: A diploma qualification which meets the criteria defined in Children’s Services Education and Care Services National Regulation 2011

Selection Criteria:

  • Applied knowledge of early education and care with reference to the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Ability to contribute in a team teaching situation.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, implement and evaluate quality improvement strategies and evaluate outcomes.
  • Approved child protection qualification (Statement of Attainment)
  • Current first aid and emergency anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications/training.
  • A working knowledge of operational requirements and understanding of the provision of education and care to children.
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills.
