User Experience is an often cited factor driving our unprecedented customer retention rate. We have built industry leading data tools and visualizations and are looking for experienced engineers that will help us build the next generation of exceptional user interfaces.
Snowflake’s Data Engineering Experience team creates innovative, consumer-grade solutions for authoring, deploying, and monitoring our customers' workflows. We are looking for a Frontend Engineer who can join our efforts in continuing to lead the industry in ease of use and customer delight.
Contribute to projects that span our stack, including Typescript and React.
Collaborate within a cross-functional team, including design and product management.
Deliver features requiring close coordination with several sister teams.
Be a contributor to the product vision and participate in team planning.
Mentor and coach junior team members.
Use Test Driven Development and Pair Programming techniques daily.
OUR IDEAL FRONTEND ENGINEER WILL HAVE:
Significant software development experience, including 2+ years of experience in product web UI application development.
Deep understanding of modern web applications design architecture, good API design, design systems, patterns, performance, and scale.
Experience in technologies such as Javascript, Typescript, and React.
Knowledge of testing tools such as React Testing Library and Jest.
Experience with Test Driven Development and Pair Programming techniques.
Experience with Canvas, SVG, and other visualization tools/libraries is a plus.
