What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?

This role is operationally in charge for the Working Capital process management, ensuring visibility over results, support for BAT entities and implementing process improvement and efficiency initiatives.

ACCOUNTABILITIES


  • Monitor and analyse performance outputs for all regions along with consistency and accuracy of the data reported
  • Analysing the set of reports in terms of results and identifying improvement opportunities aligned with the markets’ business model
  • Build and maintain a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and generate outputs and ad-hoc analysis to regional in charge representatives, while ensuring support to markets by providing all required details/explanations
  • Coordinate Working Capital initiatives arising from the group priorities and benchmarks, identify, deliver, and support process improvements towards meeting the full potential in terms of commercial value and cashflow
  • Active involvement in defining the agenda of simplification, automation and best in class delivery of DPO KPI and the initiatives
  • Focus on improvements and keep a continuous process of automation and standardization, to reach Working Capital potential and support reporting efficiency
  • Build and sustain good practices, ensure they are implemented across regions and support with the initiatives and actions at global level
  • Solid running operations with no business disruption, delivering as per objectives and deadlines in place globally
  • Knowledge of external benchmarks and of the relevant best practices related to processes for Working capital (for ex: O2C, P2P, F2F), in view of identifying areas for improvement and opportunities to integrate such.
  • Verifying project consistency at global level, while ensuring reports are prepared with the expected level o accuracy


Managerial responsibilities:


  • Drive and ensure implementation and support of Working Capital process guidelines across GBS centres, by training and coaching sessions, workshops, and presentations, working directly or indirectly with all members of teams and functions
  • Proactive attitude and flexible approach
  • Efficient work relations across the team both at GBS level and at group level in order to ensure benefits are delivered
  • Full awareness in terms of own responsibilities and the ability to make decisions and recommendations in terms of the Working Capital initiatives
  • Ability to work both individually and in collaboration with main stakeholders and to ensure that objectives are timely and fully met
  • Communicate outputs, initiatives progress, benefits at different levels


EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

ESSENTIAL (please provide only criteria considered to be ‘must haves’)


Experience Required


  • Knowledge and expertise in the financial field are mandatory
  • Good analytical skills and business acumen, ability to provide specialized advice to services within the company and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking) which would enable efficient labor relations with co-workers inside the group
  • Result oriented person which has proved high performance working under pressure and meeting the agreed deadlines
  • Project Management skills
  • Good understanding of finance processes and improvements-oriented mindset
  • Excellent management, guidance and motivational skills are essential considering work environment complexity and work relations diversity.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to cooperate with different stakeholders at all levels in the organization, both inside and outside the group

Technical / Functional / Leadership Skills Required

  • Proficiency with Ms. Office (especially Excel, Power Point and Outlook), Power Bi
  • SAP knowledge
  • Proactivity and good time management
  • Highly organized and deadline oriented
  • Excellent analytical skills and detail oriented
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in a similar position could be an advantage
  • Ability to deliver the targets for Key Performance Indicators and implement corrective actions plans
  • Able to drive very good collaboration and effective communication at all levels

  • Very good communication skills, able to engage with various stakeholders while managing and driving multiple areas of transformation.


Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably with specialization in Accounting or Finance
  • EU work permit – mandatory


BENEFICIAL (please provide a maximum of 3 criteria that would be deemed ‘useful to have’ but not essential)

  • Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage
  • 4+ years’ work experience in Finance / Accounting department
  • Experience in a previous multicultural work environment
