The Warehouse is the brand that began it all. Founded in 1982 by Sir Stephen Tindall, the first ‘red shed’ challenged established retailers and proved popular with customers as a result of its simple style, and wide range of products at bargain prices. The Warehouse has become a Kiwi household name, and we proudly recognise the role that we play in communities throughout New Zealand.
We're looking for people who are customer-focussed with a positive attitude and a great work ethic! As a casual team member your day will be varied with customer interaction, and working in a variety of areas.
All casual roles get involved with most areas of the store so no two days are the same. Loads of variety, people contact and opportunity to learn and progress. We are seeking real team players, with a great attitude and a tonne of initiative to assist our customers with product queries and service.
Please note this is a casual position with no set weekly hours.
We are looking for people who have availability during the day, for shifts ranging between between 7am and 5pm or nights 7pm to 3am. Please note you must be able to work during these hours to be considered for this position.
Ideally you would have:
- Some experience in retail, hospitality or a customer-facing role - preferable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills
- A positive, can-do attitude
- The ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
- Available at short notice, during school hours and on weekends
- Strong merchandising standards
