**Role Highlights:**
As a Guest Liaison/Reservations Assistant, you'll be the warm and friendly face that sets the stage for our guests' memorable journeys. Your attention to detail, passion for the region, and outstanding customer service skills will shine as you assist both domestic and international customers.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Welcome and engage guests, sharing your enthusiasm for the region's attractions.
- Convert inquiries into bookings via phone and email, ensuring timely and efficient responses.
- Collaborate with local and international travel agencies and delivery partners.
- Maintain exceptional accuracy in reservations and guest information.
- Demonstrate a can-do attitude while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Contribute to the success of our team and the CaPTA Group's mission.
**Ideal Candidate:**
To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualities and qualifications:
- Passion for tourism and the ability to share your excitement with guests.
- Tourism industry knowledge and local familiarity with Tropical North Queensland (a plus).
- Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate and efficient service.
- Excellent customer service and sales skills, with the ability to make guests feel valued.
- Availability over a 7-day roster, including some public holidays.
- Reservations or sales experience, preferably with knowledge of systems like Respax.
- High level of computer skills, adaptable to new reservations systems.
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
- A genuine desire to succeed and contribute to a winning team.
